prideOS

prideOS is a student association at the Apple Developer Academy @Unina committed to inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility.

While we started as an LGBTQ+ association, we realized that neurodivergent individuals, introverted individuals, as well as other marginalized groups have very similar experiences and challenges to LGBTQ+ people.

The main objective is to create safe spaces for people to gather, chat, talk, mingle, or just hang out together without fear of expressing ourselves or sharing our struggles.

Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to identify with a specific marginalized group to participate to our events or even help us organize events.

The only requirement is a genuine interest or curiosity around any of these topics:

• LGBTQ+

• Neurodivergence

• Introverted personalities

• Gender equality

• Racial and ethnic minorities

• Any other minority or marginalized group

• Inclusion, diversity, accessibility
